Join us on an adventurous cruise to Blue Heart Springs. This stunning stretch of the Snake River features multiple crystal clear springs that rush into the river. Interactively learn about the history and ecology of the area spotting fish below and predatory birds above. Make a stop by the outlet of Box Canyon on the way to the iconic Blue Heart Springs. Jumping in the water is highly encouraged! Snorkeling gear is provided upon request for those who wish to explore more of the 59 degree spring water systems.

 

Details:

The tour will last 90-120 minutes

Max capacity is 7 guests

Boat captain and guides are certified by the State of Idaho

  • Complimentary bottled water available during tour

What to Bring: 

  • Wear clothing appropriate for the conditions– hats are recommended for especially sunny days or a jacket for windy weather

  • Swimsuits are encouraged for those adventurous enough to jump into the springs. Bring a towel or soak in the sun to naturally dry off

  • Water-friendly shoes like strap-on sandals are suggested

  • Although the boat is covered, insect repellent / sunscreen may improve your experience

About

Gear up for a kayaking trip to Blue Heart Springs! Accompanied by one of our certified guides, learn about the surrounding area's environment and history as you make your way down this stretch of the Snake River sprinkled with multiple picturesque springs. Paddle at your own pace and take in the views! Enjoy a pit stop at the outlet of Box Canyon before arriving at the iconic Blue Heart Springs where you can make the leap into the refreshing 59 degree water and let the sun dry you off for the return trip.

Details: 

Average of 2-3 hours round trip

Groups of up to 5 watercraft per guide

After kayak rental, pay an additional fee of $35 to be accompanied by one of our guides for a private tour 

All guides are certified by the State of Idaho and in Red Cross First Aid

  • Single and Tandem kayaks available

  • Life jackets are provided

  • Limited inventory of snorkel gear available upon request

What to Bring: 

  • Wear clothing appropriate for the conditions–you will get wet! Swimsuits or other quick drying clothing are strongly encouraged. Hats and sunscreen are suggested.

  • Water-friendly shoes like strap-on sandals are recommended, but you are welcome to leave your footwear for the excursion.
